Great Keppel Island
Just a brief boat ride away from the Great Barrier Reef, Great Keppel is surrounded by spectacular marine life and 28 kilometres of perfect white sand. An island perfect for young and old Great Keppel is one of the Whitsundays most beautiful destinations.
Great Keppel Island is part of a goup of islands called the Keppel Group, Great Keppel being the largest of these. The Keppel Group consists of 14 separate islands all boasting glorious aquatic life, with perfect areas for snorkelling.
There are 17 breath takingly white sandy beaches, all safe for swimming. There are various different locations with marvelous corel and tropical fish to admire with your snorkel. Ninety percent of the Island is bushland, full of native wildlife.
